I'm new to Blot and noticed that the search feature returns no results when querying non-Latin scripts (e.g. CJK characters) even though the query exists in the blog posts. I'm vaguely aware the issue stems from the fact that the search feature only matches results wrapped in spaces & line breaks etc. My blog posts will be mostly written in Simplified Chinese, so the search feature is rendered near useless for my blog. I do understand that this may not be a good business decision since I assume the vast majority of blot.im users write in Latin scripts. Nevertheless, I hope you'll consider improving the search feature to accommodate languages that doesn't use spaces as delimiters. Thank you in advance!

Hi! I'd like to create a page for my blog, where the button to open the page includes javascript code to make it flash red and yellow. I have the code, only I don't know how to use it to individually effect the appearance of one of the page-buttons … is there a way to achieve this through the metadata?

Using a hashtag for title, or using "Tag: " for tags doesn't register when I source my files from Google Drive. What formatting style should we use for Google Drive?

I would like to customize my template so the home page has a couple sections that show the first 3 posts of a couple different tags. So far I have {{#all_entries}} {{#tagged.SomeTag}} {{title}} {{#tagged.SomeTag}} {{/all_entries}} But I'm not sure if I'm able to limit all_entries or access certain elements of the array with Mustache. Also, is there a way to combine inverted sections? Like if I want to filter out multiple tags from all_entries?

I'd like my images to appear larger on the screen when one clicks on them from the grid. I'm using the portfolio template, and couldn't achieve the result by playing with any of the template edit sliders. The images themselves are quite large (2000x long edge) and opening them in a new tab shows them much larger than they are on the entry page. I also tried uploading full-resolution 6000x4000 images and their size did not change. Thanks

Overnight, I've had for extra links appear in my menu named "page one," "page two", "page three", and "page four." They link to nothing. I have 3 actual pages in my Pages folder - Tenets, Colophon, About - all of which show up. I also added a link to the home page through the dashboard which also appears There are 5 image files in the pages folder, all prefixed with and underscore. So... not sure where those are coming from? Where should I look to remove them?

I love the ability to feature posts and make them sticky through custom metadata which I've added to my template e.g. Sticky: yes Rest of post here... However, one issue I've found is that pagination unsticks the posts. As soon as they have gone off of the front page, they are no longer sticky. Is there any way to change this? Thanks!

Is there an easy way that when you I visit a page on my Blot site - I can quickly find and open the original file in my folder, via say Dropbox?

I've modified the Magazine template to add a footer. When I click on a category, and click on all section on the top right, and scroll down, the part where I've footer copyright policy etc, isn't aligned like the rest of the pages. How do I fix that?

I tried using the author and keyword metadata in my post. For some reason, it wasn't displaying on the published post. I am wondering if that's how it is supposed to be. Is there a way to show a list of tags only if there's a minimum number of posts (say three) tagged as such? I'm looking to do this to show a list of tags without cluttering it up too much and only showing those with a minimum number of tagged posts. Thanks. Ray

Blot currently has five templates – each has a specific purpose for a sort of website. Are there other use-cases you'd like to see? Other types of website you could make with Blot, that don't currently exist as a template?

How can I link images from social media, say, Instagram for example without the caption or borderline showing in a post.

I would like to set a color for particular sections of text in my post. The intended use would be something like: Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate: Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer’s lease hath all too short a date; I want to make the bolded text red, and the italicized text blue. I am currently using the stock Blog template and uploading my posts as .docx files. (My bold/italics/underline and embedded images upload this way, but not text colors.) Where do I change my process to let me apply color to particular passages of text? Should I be uploading in a different file format, or modifying style.css in the Blog template?
