I checked mysitename.xyz/sitemap.xml is indeed an xml file. I gave that to GSC, but even after a few days, it says Status: Couldn't fetch. What could be the reason? Maybe the site is too small? or maybe it's got to do with the notice that I see when I open the sitemap in my browser: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

There is no pages folder in my Google Drive that connects to my links on the website. How do I go about adding that so I can add content to the various links. Can each link have a different template?

On the templates page of the dashboard – what does 'fork' mean under each template?

I just published a post with a couple of embedded tweets, and they hang just a little bit left of where the body text is aligned. I've tested this with both the tweet's URL and Twitter-provided embed code, but the result is the same. Does anyone have a solution for how I can force the embed either to stay in line with the body text, or else to align centrally on the page? Thanks.

I'm trying to make sure my site is ADA compliant. I have added "alt" text in my image embeds using markup but my site template isn't picking them up in every location that the image is shown. What do I need to add to my template to add them? Thanks!

I would like my blot website to be one of the first hits when someone searches <my name>, or <my name my profession>, but i don't want the domain to be my_name.com or stuff like this. Any advice on how to make this more likely (besides putting my name on a lot of pages)? perhaps some config file or something

I used the {|<} tag to put an image and a video in the margin of my post, and looks fine. But when I go to my home page where all my posts are listed, the video (a screen recording) is longer than the text next to it, so it is hanging down past the post it goes with and looks messy on the home page. Is there a way for content in the margins to push other posts on the home page down vertically so that posts are not overlapping? Thanks

I want to use blog.[website].com (amongst other subdomains), whilst keeping my apex domain linked to Blot. I've tried doing this, and I've updated the CNAME records to reflect this, but when I go to my subdomain website I get this message: "Your domain is almost set up. You have successfully pointed your domain to Blot’s server. The DNS records you created are working. You still need to enter your domain on the dashboard. Blot must know which site to show here. Please update the domain settings page on your site’s dashboard." My normal website with the apex domain works fine.

How does Blot work in regards to having affiliate links within my blog post? How will it appear? I am a totally blind blogger, so I want to make sure that my links don't look weird.

I have one markdown file up as a test. It came straight from Obsidian, but most of the formatting for lists isn't working correctly. Looking for any ideas what i'm doing wrong. Thanks! EDIT: Disregard. It was user error. Either my formatting was never right, or it got messed up somehow between Obsidian and Blot. Fixed it up, and it is displaying properly now.

Is it possible to add a folder of documents that become a sub-domain to my main site. e.g. newfolder/mydomain.com?

Per the instructions I found in the "How to use Blot" section I have made a page called "Posts" that links to "/page/1"; however, nothing shows up there. I tried with no "Link: " metadata in my post and didn't get the post on my homepage or "/page/1". I also tried making link to "Link: /", which obviously put the post on my homepage, but not on "/page/1". Any advice would be much appreciated. I love the theoretical simplicity of Blot, but I'm struggling to get something seemingly simple working how I expect it to.

Hi there, blot was able to automatically create a root folder for my blog but no other contents were added. I created a folder for Posts and upload a markdown file to test. Still, nothing is showing up in prod nor is the .md file getting recognized in blot's > sync view. Please advise, thanks! https://hcde.blot.im/
