Resolved

I've added an example Org file to my blog only to see that it's detected as a file, and not as a post. The file's contents are just: This is a test. /Woo-hoo./

I'm using git and my new posts are going through to my blog (I can see them in the dashboard). However, they are not showing up on the main page of my blog. Some are showing on the archives page and some aren't. This just started today.

I can't for the life of me get anything to appear on the home page. I added a new page with some custom content and set the link to / but it's still blank. For reference, I forked the blog template, changed some colors and started using it. I'm not sure if the homepage was blank before then because I hadn't uploaded any pages yet. Might be worth noting that the home page doesn't have the colors of the template either. The search page also doesn't have the right colors, but the archive page does. Is there some sort of delay in between making posts / changing template and the homepage updating?

I've been updating my blog - mostly just photos, and noticed that changes I've been making to my dropbox haven't been properly reflected. I've done the reset Dropbox options, all of them from resync to clearing cache, but doesn't appear to be working.

Overnight, I've had for extra links appear in my menu named "page one," "page two", "page three", and "page four." They link to nothing. I have 3 actual pages in my Pages folder - Tenets, Colophon, About - all of which show up. I also added a link to the home page through the dashboard which also appears There are 5 image files in the pages folder, all prefixed with and underscore. So... not sure where those are coming from? Where should I look to remove them?

It's been two months since I noticed that some of my tags kept disappearing from my tags list. I found that I could make them come back by just changing the folder name (I use folders with brackets to create my tags). At first I thought the tags that were disappearing were random, but recently I concluded that they were always the same and what they have in common is that they are all graphic accentuated words (words with graphic marks such as á ó ê): [Diários de viagem], [Memórias em fotos] and [Séries]. I'm from Brazil so I always use a lot of graphic marks in words since I write in Portuguese. Has anyone experienced something like this and know how I can solve this problem?

I'm new to Blot and noticed that the search feature returns no results when querying non-Latin scripts (e.g. CJK characters) even though the query exists in the blog posts. I'm vaguely aware the issue stems from the fact that the search feature only matches results wrapped in spaces & line breaks etc. My blog posts will be mostly written in Simplified Chinese, so the search feature is rendered near useless for my blog. I do understand that this may not be a good business decision since I assume the vast majority of blot.im users write in Latin scripts. Nevertheless, I hope you'll consider improving the search feature to accommodate languages that doesn't use spaces as delimiters. Thank you in advance!

The server was caught in a deathloop, failing to restart properly. this meant that everything that wasn't cached failed to load. The issue is now resolved. I'm extremely sorry, and i will properly get to your emails when i return on Monday. I'm on vacation, which I hope explains but does not excuse the delay

I notice that the Date: metadata isn't taking effect now; it used to be that I could upload a post with a future date or time, and it would go live at that time, but now they show up at the time they get uploaded as long as the Draft flag isn't set. Did something change?
