Home page still not caught up. What's going on?
After intermitent recovery following last month's outages, now my home page is now stuck five days behind my site's content. For something that used to be rock-solid, I'm starting to have doubts about Blot's stability.
Sorry about this – I reset the cache for your site manually – is everything in order now?
I still haven't pinned down the underlying cause of the caching bug with Blot's reverse proxy. I'm working on it.
For context, I recently switched the caching system used on Blot's servers. This is necessary for the long term growth of Blot – as we host more sites our infrastructure needs to scale. I understand that the bugs introduced in this process are frustrating and I'm sorry.
Answered a year ago · Edit answerThanks for doing that, and for the context. I was looking for where I could manually do a reset, but couldn’t find it. Did I miss it?
Best of luck figuring out the bug and scaling the infrastructure. I hope those headaches — for you and us! — clear up soon.
Answered a year ago · Edit answerMy posts have gotten back to normal, but I've got something strange going on with my RSS feed, where it seems to be behind. Could it be related?
