I wonder why does the "/random" link stick to the same page from time to time? Is it just my site or anybody else got the same issue? I can't seem to understand the pattern because many times the page refreshes on each click but at times it gets stuck with one page.
I didn't know about this feature. But I just checked and it does go to the same post each time on my site
Answered 3 months ago · Improve this answerI also didn't know about this feature (it is a great one). I'd actually love to use it in something like an email signature so that whenever someone clicks my name they get a random post on my blog.
I tested it across two browsers and it brought up the same post for me and when I attempt the URL again, it's still the same post that comes up.
Maybe David will chime in if this is a bug or if the cadence is set to something on the backend that cycles not at runtime. It would seem it should be at runtime, though.
