I'm fine with the chronological order of photos in the general feed, but I have a few tagged portfolios that I would like to display in a fixed order. I know date/time labeling them in the filename will do this, but then that date/time is displayed on screen.
Is there a way to order them whilst hiding the date and maintaining a caption, which will also be in the filename?
I tried using nested dated folders, which I guess works although they need to be numbered in reverse to display in the correct order.
Blot currently lacks proper control at the template level over the ordering of posts - I plan to add these features but they're not ready yet.
For now, would simply hiding the captions / filenames on the pages which list posts with a given tag, e.g. /tagged/apple solve the problem?

Best solution I've got at the moment is the dated folder nest, with the photos in a numbered list of reverse chronological folders. I'm going to experiment with what number formats I can get away with and see how few folder levels I need, but this does the job for now. Especially as this is for never-updated static galleries.
Thanks for confirming I wasn't missing something obvious though.
