Is it possible to add a footnote on the Blog template?

I am using the [^Footnote] markdown notation, but it becomes literal text rather than a footnote.

I asked the question before doing my research… Apparently, not. The Blog template does not have the ability out-of-the-box, and Magazine has them inline.

Are you referring to bigfoot.js, which is installed by default on the Magazine template? It can be installed on the blog template too

You have to use reference-style footnotes, such as:

A sentence with a trailing footnote.[^fn1]

[^fn1]: This is the text of the footnote.

Ah, Blot does support inline footnotes. If you have a post where this is not working, can you please send us a link to it and we'll take a look?
