Blog template

There's a preview/demo page for the blog template that you've put up recently that has some design capabilities I'd like to play with, especially the images and text hanging in the right column, and the potential for full width content. Are they things that are enabled in the template already, or do I have to add some code to make them work? Thanks.

I would recommend taking a look at this help page on 'layout tags', which may give you a start on what you're looking to achieve.

Thanks, yes a useful page. But unless I'm wrong my Blog template (which is just the standard one) doesn't have a layout.css file - at least if I fork it and look at the list it's not there. Style.css yes, Layout.css no. Can I create one and put in there, will that work?

I'm no expert on this (in case it wasn't already obvious, this isn't David responding, just another user), but layout.css doesn't appear in my template file list either, and all of the layout tags work perfectly. If you didn't already, try using some on a post / page, and see if you get the desired results.

(Hi fellow user) The layout tags didn't work in my Blog template and having just checked again they still don't. That Layout Tags page does seem to say that the missing layout.css is what provides those features, but perhaps I'm missing something obvious here.

This seems like a bona fide case of a quick email to support. Sorry I couldn't help further; hope you get it worked out.

The blog template’s style.css file contains layout.css and the layout tags should/will work. Here is the blog post’s source file used in the preview, does that help?
