Remove the date from posts?

I am trying to have a main page and want the date completely gone. How do I do it for a post?

Hi. you mention doing for a post. I do this as a page and put it in my pages folder on dropbox. I do make a few changes to metadata like this:

Link: / Menu: no

Then the title and content happens. There is no date assigned to the page.

Will this work for you?

Okay, yes it does. Thank you.

When I put metadata as Menu: yes, then the post becomes a page and no date. Is there a way to attach posts to a different page and not be visible on the main page?

You can change the URL of a post using the link metadata, e.g.

Link: /about

# About me

You can also hide dates on all of your posts if you fork a copy of your template, then open up the template editor and adjust the date display option in the sidebar to 'Hide dates'
