Setting up FeedPress

I use FeedPress to manage my RSS feed. Ideally it would replace the standard feed for my site. For that I would have to set up a redirection from my site's normal feed to the FeedPress feed, while still giving FeedPress access to the normal site feed so it can be updated. Usually that's done via .htaccess file (see here).

Is there any way this can be accomplished?

This isn't possible right now – can you just change the public link in your blog's menu from the Blot RSS URL to the Feedpress? You can keep the Blot RSS URL open, just don't share it with anyone except Feedpress.

If you need to migrate existing readers who've saved the Blot RSS URL but need to preserve access for Feedpress' scraper, I'd consider setting up a Cloudflare page rule.

Finally, I have thought about adding .htaccess support, but it will be a while away.

OK, I figured as much. I've set it up like you say, that makes sense.

Thanks for the reply!

Great, I also set up a thread for discussing .htaccess support
