What is the best way to import wordpress comments?

Would you like to use a commenting system on Blot? Or do you want to embed the comments at the end of the posts, statically?

If you want to use a commenting system, like say Disqus, those have a way to import from Wordpress. Otherwise, I could modify Blot's Wordpress importer to embed the comments at the end of the relevant post

That is a very good question. I hadn't really considered the possibility of having the comments as a static part of the post. How would I go about trying that out?
