How do I create a landing page that collects emails?
I want to create a simple landing page that allows users to put in their email. I want it to connect to an email list I can access to notify people when I have updates abou tmy product. How do I go aboout this?
I think you'll need to connect an outside source for this. I'm in the middle of doing the same thing, with Convertkit (soon to be Kit). They allow 10K free subscribers, the most of any landing page/ email provider that I've seen.
The problem I'm having is that the signup form isn't displaying correctly on the page. Neither javascript or html are working properly.
About having your own landing page, just create a page and put menu: no in the front matter if you don't want it to display with all the other pages.
